Even
though Halbertcicles do have a tendency to take on, shall we say,
a more masculine form, there is a balancing yin-yang dot in the
middle of this aquatic equation. This Halbertcicle was the first
one to bear a distinctly more feminine form.
I
have long felt it a poor choice of words to use the term "opposite
sex." The "other sex" is better. That at least
gets us into the neutral zone. But I prefer think in terms of the
"complementary sex." It puts a distinctly positive spin
on the situation.
Using
language that creates a positive attitude about the relationship
between the sexes is a good thing. It honors God's creativity.
